Techno-G Angled Ball Segment Discharge Valves for Conical Dryers' Side Outlet Connection
Techno-G offers a Ball Segment Discharge Valve designed specifically for side outlet mounting on conical dryers, rather than the conventional in-line bottom outlet execution. The Techno-G Angled version provides an innovative solution for this application.

- Angled (inclined) Mounting: Designed for side outlet installation on conical dryers.
- Inflatable Seal: Ensures a secure and hygienic connection, preventing leakage.
- Dead-Zone-Free Design: Allows product to flow as smoothly as a conventional Techno-G Ball Segment Valve.
- CIP Port Compatibility: A cleaning-in-place (CIP) port can be integrated for enhanced hygiene.
- Hygienic Connection: The valve head connects directly to the side entry dryer flange and can be shaped to match the dryer’s radius.
Technical Specifications:
- Flange Connection Options: Available in DIN metric sizes or ASME inch sizes, ranging from 150 mm (6”) to 350 mm (14”).
- Pressure Suitability: Designed for vessels operating mostly under 1 bar or slight vacuum. As such, PED compliance is not required since the application is mostly atmospheric.
- Sealing Options:
- 100% shut-off using an inflatable seal.
- Dust-tight sealing available with a static seal between the valve head and the opening.
Customization & Accessories:
- Heated Valve Head & Purge Flange: Available upon request for the full product range.
- Actuation Options: Compatible with actuators from most leading manufacturers, as well as all additional ancillary equipment.
